    These are family heirlooms passed down to me. Both my father and grandfather were military men and travelled and took their families around the world. They and we lived in many different homes. I have a kind of kept that tradition going, though I'm not a military man!

    I have a small place for plants but I love them. They give me peace. I also grow some things to help cook a taste of home. I am grateful for these and one day will have more. Home is special as it's my own.

    I feel a little homesick when looking at this picture. It is my parents carpet at their home and reminds me of them. It is their favourite carpet and was my grandma's before.

    Home is a place to relax. To unwind and switch off. It should be your space to hide away from the outside world, if you want. I love my home. Being at home with a glass of wine and a good book is my favourite way to relax.

    This bear has followed our family in all homes we have lived in. Even though she is older now I will keep this as a memory of her and where we have travelled. Wherever this bear is will always be our home.
